My research and academic expertise span Plant Biology, Molecular Biology, Cell Biology, Genetics, Biotechnology, Plant Development, Phytohormone Signalling, Nutrient Biology, and Plant Stress Responses. Through my research experience, I have developed a strong ability to explain complex scientific concepts in a clear, structured, and engaging way.

I am particularly interested in supporting students studying IB Biology and other international Biology curricula, helping them move beyond memorisation to understand the underlying biological principles and apply their knowledge to unfamiliar questions and real-world scientific problems.

My tutoring approach is student-focused and tailored to each learner's needs. I aim to create an encouraging environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, discussing ideas, and developing confidence in their scientific reasoning. I can support students with core Biology concepts, exam preparation, data interpretation, experimental design, scientific thinking, and extended-response questions.

My research background also allows me to bring real-world examples from modern biological research into teaching, helping students appreciate how the concepts they learn in Biology are applied in scientific research and the wider world.
