I’m a passionate and dedicated tutor with a strong academic background in Statistics. I hold a Bachelor of Science Honours degree in Applied Statistics and Data Science from the University of Cape Town (UCT). I am currently pursuing an MSc specializing in Statistics. Growing up in South Africa, I had the privilege of competing and achieving top results in my exams, placing top 5 in my grade across 8 subjects, including Biology. These experiences, both academic and competitive, have shaped my approach to tutoring, where I combine a deep love of science with a commitment to helping students thrive.

Beyond academics, I’ve always had a deep connection to the outdoors, inspired by the incredible natural beauty of South Africa. Whether it’s surfing incredible waves along the South African coastline, looking for wildlife in beautiful game reserves or trail running in forests, being in nature fuels me and keeps me balanced. I’ve been lucky to explore some of the most breathtaking game reserves—from stunning cheetah and lion sightings to the elusive leopard—and it’s this same spirit of exploration and curiosity that I bring into my teaching.

With a blend of research expertise and years of tutoring experience, I’m all about helping students build confidence, master challenging material, and feel empowered in their studies. I believe success isn’t just about exams—it’s about growing as a person, and I’m here to support students every step of the way.

I have six years of online tutoring experience in Biology, Statistics and Mathematics. With a strong academic background that includes a degree in Biology and Applied Statistics, as well as my current pursuit of an MSc in Statistics, I am passionate about helping students achieve their academic goals while mastering the material.

I have been tutoring online for six years, working with students across various exam boards, including IGCSE, GCSE, and A Levels. Over my tutoring career, I've tutored several students with learning disabilities including ADHD, ADD, dyscalculia and dyslexia and I’ve guided many students to improve by at least two grades. I help them develop effective exam strategies, including structuring answers correctly, tackling challenging questions, and mastering problem-solving skills. I provide additional resources, homework, and exam-style questions to reinforce learning, ensuring progress is measurable.

Beyond tutoring sessions, I offer ongoing support, answering questions and clarifying concepts whenever needed. My approach blends academic rigor with encouragement, aiming to help students excel both in exams and in their overall academic journey.
